About us

the best choice for tree service

We are a locally-owned tree service company who proudly and gratefully serve the area in which we grew up. We are Brady and Loretta Chapman; a husband and wife team whose roots are located in the small town of Bethel, and whose roots are also nested within the logging and tree industry. Having both been raised in logging families, our exposure to the industry dates back to early childhood. As a young boy, Brady helped his dad with residential tree jobs and quickly became acclimated to the demanding rhythm of tree work. After years of dragging brush, he eventually graduated to tree-climbing, and was fortunate enough to also learn the art of tree-felling and chainsaw-handling from his highly accomplished uncles.

Professional Tree Services
Loretta, too, learned the value of hard work from her logging father, as well as from being raised on their family homestead where burning firewood to heat everything in the house including the hot water, raising animals, and growing gardens were par for the course. From a young age, she developed a hard-working ethic that later aided her in her development as a savvy business woman. After managing a successful logging and excavation company for many years that she also partially owned, Loretta brought her prowess and experience when she and Brady started Top Notch Tree Service in August of 2013. Between Loretta’s business acumen and Brady’s expertise in tree removal, as well as their shared devotion to customer satisfaction and commitment to providing an excellent service, they make a highly capable team that have come to be well respected by their customers, their employees, and their community.

Why Choose Us

We want to provide you with outstanding service. We take great pride in what we do and we understand that in order to provide you with the service that you deserve, it requires our full attention in a multitude of ways. Tree work is dangerous and requires exceptional attentiveness to keep our customers’ homes and properties safe, as well as ensuring the safety of our crew. We believe that same level of attentiveness should be applied to every other facet of our service including but not limited to, navigating proper codes/laws in relation to tree cutting and pruning, being mindful of people’s property lines, understanding the locations of underground utilities and septic fields, and communicating clearly and effectively with our customers. We believe effective communication and a prompt response is a huge facet of providing a great service and we always seek to respond to inquiries within 24 hours. We are grateful for every inquiry we receive and will always endeavor to provide our customers with the best service we possibly can.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Every tree is different, much like every job is different. The cost of tree work can range dramatically based on the scope and magnitude of your project. Here at Top Notch Tree Service we offer quality work that is fair and competitively priced, and our estimates are always free. We also seek to work with our customers to create a plan that best fits their tree needs, as well as their budget.
At the time of inquiry, it will be discussed how far out we are scheduling. For the most part, we schedule tree work on a first come, first-serve basis. However, there are times when we do take into account projects that require more urgency, whether they be hazard trees, or tree work that is holding up construction or home improvements (For example, a roof replacement, paving a driveway, etc.). Also, there are times when we may be working in an area and it is a more efficient use of our time to fold in newly-contracted work while we are in that vicinity. That being said, we do a good job staying ahead of our workload, and completing the work as it is in queue.
It is always subject to the homeowner’s wants and needs. The customer is entitled to whatever material the tree job produces whether it be firewood, saw logs, or wood chips. Whether we leave some or all of the debris onsite, or we take it away, the price of the job may be affected. We always work with the homeowner to find the best fit for their needs. Whenever material is removed from a job site, it is used for firewood, biomass, compost & mulch, or taken to a paper or saw mill. Nothing ever goes to waste!
